Carol Kane (1945-2011) brought to the ministry a unique combination of God's healing through the operation of the "Revelation Gifts" of the Holy Spirit, combined with the demonstration of God's power to deliver and set free. To God's glory, many have been delivered from infirmities and life-threatening conditions, and from mental and spiritual torment. Her heart is to see people brought into the fullness of what God has for them. She was in traveling ministry since the early 1980s, graduated from Christ for the Nations Institute and was licensed in 1989, and she was ordained the following year.
Carol overcame the valleys of cancer, grief, and despair by learning to live an overcoming life through praise and worship and an intimate relationship with the Father. Even in the midst of attacks of loneliness, financial distress and low self-esteem, she found Him to be faithful.
Carol's ministry took her around the United States, and overseas. In addition to her traveling ministry, Carol served as an assistant to Dr. James Maloney of The ACTS Group International, from 1997 to 2004 at Christ for the Nations Institute. Carol and her husband, David reside in the Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas area.
David Kane, is a graduate of Emmaus Road Ministry School (1992) and has a love of teaching revelatory truth of God’s heart to the Body of Christ.
David surrendered his life to Jesus and was baptized in 1987, as an adult, after sixteen years of mental/emotional torment, and a close call with death following many years of family involvement with spiritualism and false religions.
His powerful story of the grace of God, in delivering him out of many deep waters, and into freedom in Jesus Christ alone, testifies of the unfathomable love of God. His heart is to raise up disciples of Christ, after John 17:3, to know their God, and Jesus Christ, whom He has sent.
Recent History of This Ministry
Many Christians are looking for a place of ministry. In 1996, God told us to “go back to Bethel,” because there were many “walking wounded” around us, and we opened up our home, once a month, for gatherings. God was faithful to bring those who needed healing, by word of mouth. People could come into a “non churchy” atmosphere and have their faith built, receive healing and prophetic ministry, and have a light lunch. These “Be Made Whole” home gatherings have had as many as fifty five people on a Saturday, and, some years ago, an NBC affiliate (Channel 5 television) did a story about miracles, filming there in our carpeted garage, where God has filled over three thousand seats over the years. God is ever faithful, in confirming His Word to those who will believe.
Beginning in 2004, we felt led to continue teaching “Holy Spirit Training Schools.” Saints are taught how to function in the anointing that God had given them, to lay hands on the sick, and to prophesy. We teach them how to function in the workplace, while out and about in their everyday lives, being the Hands and Feet of Jesus to the world.
These days, most Christians are not prepared to endure, to persist during trials and tribulations. They need to know that even though they do not see instant answers to their prayers, God is still working in His timing for their best, if they will stand on His Word. Most people live in their Sunday experience, hoping that is enough to take them through whatever life brings. Carol says that “You never know what Monday may bring.” Many have faith for what they can physically see, but do not have faith in the (as yet) unseen things “hoped for.” God wants to change that.
We have walked out what we teach, and continue to do so. In 2006, Carol was diagnosed with colorectal cancer, with liver metastasis. In 2009, David was diagnosed prostate cancer, and later in the year, bone metastases were found. We do not deny the (medical) facts; we state emphatically, that God is much bigger than those facts.
We thank the LORD most of all for the gift of eternal life through JESUS the Christ, and His ongoing victory in the midst of all the labels with which we must deal (hopeless, terminal, etc.). I’ll tell you what! Carol and I are hopelessly in love with our Savior and cherish His presence every day, we are terminally and irrevocably committed to Him and, come what may, we know we shall see life, life, and more life, because that is Who inhabits our prayers, and our praises, the Lord of Life.
Carol and I have found Joy, and the ability to smile more, and know that, with God, everything is going to be all right.
Once again, this year's challenges brought opportunities to touch many we would not have expected to reach, with the continual faithfulness of our wonderful Lord, for Whom absolutely nothing is impossible.
May God afford us all the ability to see more to be thankful for,
David and Carol Kane
