Footprints of Faith
What will be left of your life's work when you leave this earth? Will there be any "footprints" left in people's lives? Were they changed unto a greater zeal to earnestly seek and study and pray and live in such a way that God is glorified?
Your faith, my faith, is very little if we are not making a measurable impact daily on those around us.
One preacher calls our modern-day Church one of "low impact, high maintenance" Christians. Perhaps this is not true of you.
What I would ask is for you to pray and ask God to do ANYTHING necessary to facilitate the changes that He wants to make in your life. But, we must remember that we are not passive automatons that are shaped by the Lord and have no free will! God is not creating a race of robots, or slaves, if you will, but rather willing men, women, and children who know their God, and have freely yielded their lives for His use. Such men founded this great United States of America.
The Scripture reads: (KJV, Mt. 28): "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, [even] unto the end of the world. Amen."
Go to someone! Meet them personally. Tell them what Jesus did to change your life. The Lord will work in you and through you and change you as you go. And THAT is the real change that yours truly can believe in.
