James Maloney affirms that the spread of God's kingdom must be advanced by demonstration of the Spirit and the true, miraculous signs of the apostle. His ministry organization, The ACTS Group International (The Apostolic Congress of Team Strategists), was created to equip the local Church and its leaders in the manifestation of the supernatural. It is also a covering organization for other groups and ministries. He is seeking to reproduce reproducers, and has helped equip indigenous pastors and leadership in many countries of the world.
Joy Maloney (James’ wife) is a seasoned Bible teacher who has traveled throughout America in conferences and women's meetings. Her emphasis is on the fellowship branch of prayer in divine intimacy. Because of her own miraculous experiences, she teaches heavily along the lines of faith and the biblical basis of healing.
What follows is my own account of Brother and Sister Maloney's ministry, and I wrote it as a testimony of God's grace. Please understand, it is not

James had a challenging start in life, as do many. James was orphaned, abused and battered as a child, and lived in a closet for a year. James describes his religious background as "American heathen", in other words, he had none. He received Jesus while a California "hippie" during the "Jesus Movement" in the 1970s.
1 Cor 1: 26-29, (KJV) “For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, [are called]: But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty; And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, [yea], and things which are not, to bring to naught things that are: That no flesh should glory in his presence.”
Now in his teens, James was the football hero of his town, a star receiver. He had received a Congressional appointment to the Naval Academy, and was going to play football for Jesus, and fly fighter jets. Then, he had a career ending back
injury during a game.
Someone drove him, in excruciating pain, to a six hour miracle service there in California, where a young protégé of Kathryn Kuhlman was ministering. The young man had a “word of knowledge” from the Lord about James' condition. The last thing James remembered after going forward, was getting down in a football stance in the prayer line, thinking the young minister was pushing people down. James woke up under the grand piano; God had healed his football injuries. The Lord spoke to James during that service, asking him to forsake all, including the football career, to serve Him. James told the Lord, that he would give everything up and serve him, if he could see in his ministry what he was seeing in those miracle services. God took him up on that.
James has held over seventy overseas mass evangelism crusades. Often, in these crusades, thousands received Jesus in one service, because of a notable miracle that God performed; in some of these crusades, there have been mass miracles, hundreds of blind eyes, or deaf ears healed at once. Out of these crusades, it is estimated that eleven hundred new churches were created. The Lord has saved James from death on multiple occasions.
The Lord frequently performs unusual creative miracles as James ministers, confirming His Word. He (the Lord) has formed eyes in the heads of those who had none. God has created body parts, limbs appear, portions of fingers lost in accidents, created. God often has replaced metal parts in bodies with natural bone again. God restored the face of a girl, badly deformed on one side, in a fire. The dead have been raised up alive. Pacemakers have disappeared. Hopelessly crippled children have run into their parents arms. Just this May (written in 2008), a young eight year old girl born with genetic dwarfism grew six inches or more, and her body gained weight, in front of the congregation. How glorious the Lord we serve!
The Lord has used James to minister in the "Gifts of the Holy Spirit" and the "Word of the Lord" to thousands individually.
Brother Maloney is a frequent speaker at seminars and conferences, in the US and overseas, and has had the honor of training and equipping many groups of indigenous pastors and ministers, over the years.
James has held leadership positions at bible colleges and schools in the U.S. and abroad. For seven years, he was a professor at Christ for the Nations Institute, where many thousands of Bible students enjoyed his classes. He is currently serving as Senior Visiting Speaker at Kingdom Faith College in Horsham England, several times a year.
We have known James and Joy personally since 1995. We can vouch for their character and integrity. There is no hype, no hyperbole. We have been eyewitnesses to several notable miracles God has done as James ministered.The Maloneys exhort people to get their eyes off the vessel, and onto the Lord, who gets all the honor and the glory.
James' groundbreaking book, The Dancing Hand of God: Unveiling the Fullness of God through Apostolic Signs, Wonders, and Miracles, three years in writing, has just been released (August 2008, 446 pages).
